​Hand Decontamination

​All of our hand decontamination products are based on the F10SC Disinfectant active ingredients, and feature the same rapid kill times and non-irritant characteristics. 
​The advantage of this soap is that the core components are based on F10SC Veterinary Disinfectant, and that means that the same efficacy and safety benefits apply to this product too. It features a very fast kill time – log 2 bacterial and fungal reduction within the first 15 - 30 seconds of hand washing – this is a great benefit as there is now no need to wash your hands for 1 whole minute to achieve the required microcidal kill. In addition, the soap has added skin care components ensuring hands don’t dry or crack up. F10 Antiseptic Hand Soap is yellowish in appearance.

  • Will not irritate skin – contains lanolin and glycerine to soothe much-washed hands
  • Fast acting – cuts down on hand wash time
  • No chlorhexidine gluconate – unlike Chlorhex and Microshield – so provides a viable alternative for customers who have problems with these lines

​This product features higher concentrations of emollients and active ingredients, ensuring an even better kill for theatre and other critical areas. F10 Hand Scrub can be used for two purposes, firstly as a surgical hand scrub, but also for the veterinary patient’s pre-operative skin preparation.
​Benefits:
  • Contains the F10 core actives with high levels of skin care components and is therefore broad spectrum effective, yet non-irritating and mild.
  • Proven zero skin irritation hazard on both intact and abraded skin.
  • Fast-acting and will eliminate gram positive bacteria, e.g. Staphylococcus spp in 15 seconds and gram negative, e.g. Pseudomonas spp and yeasts, e.g. Candida albicans in 30 seconds.
  • For a contact time of 1 minute, F10 Hand Scrub will achieve a >log8 (exceeding 100,000,000 times reduction in cell counts) and after repeated challenges still achieve > log 7 - 99.99999% kill for a residual period of 3 hours.
  • It is an ideal alternative to preparations containing chlorhexidine or iodine and will not cause skin irritation.

This product combines the best of both worlds – F10 kill and contact time, and the usefulness of quick drying from the alcohol component. No water is required to use F10 Hand Gel, it just disinfects your hands and then dries on them within 60 seconds. Used where clean hands are required but access to water and proper antimicrobial hand soap is not always available, for bird, companion animal, and reptile breeders who continually move between cages, and in DAFF quarantine facilities that require hands free decontamination in certain areas. F10 Hand Gel is a clear, viscous liquid.

  • F10 core actives with 20% alcohol for quick drying with a kill rate >log6 (exceeding 1,000,000 times reduction in cell counts).
  • Broad-spectrum and fast-acting.

  • Higher emollient levels and lower alcohol content than most hand gels, thus kinder to the skin with less drying even after frequent use.
  • Available as RTU 100ml spray, 500ml pump, and in 5 litre drums.

2-in-1 Hand Cream

Benefits:
  • F10 2-in-1 Hand Cream has been specially formulated for use by healthcare workers who expose their skin to high levels of stress due to frequent washing and drying of their hands.
  • The 2-in-1 product contains skin care moisturisers as well as a hand sanitiser based on the core actives of F10 disinfectant.
  • F10 2-in-1 Hand Cream will restore the skin to its natural suppleness without feeling greasy or slippery.
  • The cream is rapidly adsorbed leaving the skin with a soft, dry feel which lasts for hours.
  • Testing shows F10 2-in-1 Hand Cream will kill >99% of commonly occurring bacteria (e.g. Staph, E.coli, Pseudomonas sp) within 10 minutes of application. However, the product is not a substitute for broad spectrum antiseptic liquid soaps, which should still be used for decontamination of dirty hands.
